LA 한국문화원과 샌디에이고 한국의 집이 공동 주관하는 ‘Korea Day at Balboa Park (발보아 공원 한국의 날)’ 행사가 오는 10월 23일(토) 오후 3시부터 8시까지 발보아 공원 오르간 파빌리온에서 열립니다. 이번 ‘한국의 날’의 주요 행사 중 하나인 K-pop Cover Dance Festival 및 P1 Harmony 팬미팅 등이 이 무대에서 열리게 됩니다.

K-pop Cover Dance festival은 준결승에 오른 10여개팀이 샌디에이고 에서 경연을 펼치게 되며 최종 선발된 1팀은 미국 대표로 world final 결선에 오르게 됩니다.

이번 K-pop 축제를 위해 광개토사물놀이 예술단과 함께 한국에서 온 피원하모니(P1Harmony)는 K-pop Cover Dance Festival 심사 및 축하공연, 그리고 팬미팅 등 오랜 시간 무대 안 밖에서 K-pop 팬들과 만남을 가질 예정입니다.

또한 ‘한국의 날’ 행사에는 한국 문화를 알릴 다양한 부스(요즘 인기만점이 오징어 게임을 체험할 수 있는 부스 포함)도 함께 준비되며, 모든 행사는 무료로 진행하지만, 안전상의 이유로 음식판매는 하지 않습니다.

P1Harmony, also known as P1H, is a 6-member boy group under FNC Entertainment. The group consists of Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul, and Jongseob. They debuted on October 28th, 2020 with ‘SIREN’.
Gwanggeto Samulnori is a professional percussion band with an aim to spread the prestigious Korean traditional culture of Samulnori (Korean traditional percussion quarter) all over the globe and bring this precious cultural asset to an international arena. The band is committed to educating the performance of Samulnori to the next generations and reinventing it with a modern touch without forgoing its original depth.
