Q : Why do we encourage you to become a member of SDKPA? 

As with any successful organization, the SDKPA relies on the support and dedication of our Korean families in the community. We cannot do this alone without your help and support. Together, we can achieve a lot more for our children and make our voice heard. Please come and join us becoming advocates of our children.

Q : What activities does SDKPA offer to members? 

The SDKPA sponsors a wide variety of activities and events such as book clubs, and information sessions and seminars with various education related topics. Members will receive information about these events via email. For more information about book clubs, please refer to our book club webpage.

Q : Do I have to be a San Diego resident to be a member of SDKPA?

No. Anyone who resides in the San Diego County and is committed to SDKPA mission and has school age children can become a member. Non-San Diego resident can become an honorary member. To become a member, please sign up here.

Q : What are the benefits of being a member of SDKPA?

As parents, we are dedicated to providing many opportunities for our children to foster their intellectual, social and emotional growth to become a better member in our society. SDKPA supports this important mission through various volunteer activities and scholarship opportunities that our growing children can directly benefit from.

Q : Is there a membership fee?

There is no membership fee to join SDKPA. Other activities administrated by SDKPA like book clubs may incur nominal participation fees. Donations to SDKPA is always welcome. Please refer to our donation webpage(link). As a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization, your donations are 100% tax deductible.

Q : How do I receive SDKPA newsletters?
