SDKPA Book Club Member’s Pledge (2023-2024)

As a member of SDKPA Book club, I  <<Member’s Official Name>>  promise to take part in the book club with diligence from September 2023 to May 2024 by following the rules listed below. 

1. I will attend the book club meeting each month and read the assigned book, and/ or articles of the month before the book club meeting. ☑︎ 
2. I will complete the assigned homework of the month with sincerity and bring it to the book club meeting. ☑︎ 
3. I will follow the leader's instructions and be actively involved in the book club activities. ☑︎ 
4. I will co-operate and respect other members during the book club meeting. ☑︎
5. During the online meeting, I must have my camera on and make my face visible at all times. ☑︎ 
6. I will not claim liability against the book club or the family who provided their home to hold a book club meeting for any accidents that might happen during the meeting. ☑︎ 
7. A book club member should attend 9 book club meetings and submit assignments each time. Points will be accrued according to the following schedule (maximum 18 points) ☑︎ 
   • Attendance (1 point for each book club meeting)
   • Homework (1 point for each homework assignment
   • It will be restricted to enroll following school year if absences are accumulated over three times.       

       8. I will comply with additional precautions required by the SDKPA in addition to the guidelines of the CDC and the government for the safety and health of the participants when there are in-person group meetings. ☑︎

SDKPA reserves the right to disqualify any member of the book club who does not follow the book club rules.
